Super Duplex Steel Seamless Pipes are mostly made of iron with about 22-25% chromium, 4-6% nickel, and 3-5% molybdenum and minor traces of nitrogen and manganese. This composition helps in providing superior corrosion resistance and high strength. Mechanically, such pipes have tensile strength of 750-850 MPa, yield strength of 450-550 MPa, and elongation of 20-30%. The microstructure balance between austenite and ferrite phases provides toughness, and they are highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking and are fit for use at high pressure.
