Super Duplex Steel ERW Pipes contain a balanced composition of chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), and nitrogen with trace amounts, providing greater strength and corrosion resistance. These pipes have excellent mechanical characteristics with an average yield strength of approximately 550 MPa and tensile strength in excess of 750 MPa. They boast outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking even in environments containing high levels of chlorides. Their duplex microstructure is favorable for toughness and weldability and thus are suitable for harsh conditions in structural and fluid handling applications.
