Stainless Steel Pipes consist mostly of iron, chromium (at least 10.5%), nickel, and traces of carbon, manganese, and other elements. The alloy composition provides increased resistance to corrosion, strength, and formability. The mechanical properties are a tensile strength of 515–750 MPa, yield strength of 205–450 MPa, and excellent elongation properties (up to 40%). The pipes have good ductility, toughness, and high-temperature resistance and find applications in structural and pressure applications.
