904L EFW Stainless Steel Pipes are made from high-alloy austenitic stainless steel containing between 19–23% chromium, 23–28% nickel, 4–5% molybdenum, and 1–2% copper, with minimal carbon content to assure maximum corrosion resistance. These pipes have good mechanical characteristics, such as 490 MPa tensile strength, yield strength of 220 MPa, and 35% elongation. They are strong even in harsh conditions like sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acids. The presence of copper increases the resistance to severe reducing acids, whereas molybdenum increases the resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting.
