Stainless Steel 410 Tubing mainly consists of Chromium (11.5–13.5%) and Carbon (0.08–0.15%), along with trace amounts of Manganese, Silicon, Phosphorus, and Sulfur. This martensitic grade can be heat-treated to boost its strength and hardness. Typically, SS 410 tubing boasts a tensile strength ranging from 450 to 750 MPa, a yield strength of about 275 MPa, and an elongation of 20%. It shows good toughness, thermal conductivity, and can resist oxidation up to 650°C. These tubes are magnetic in all conditions and can be hardened through heat treatment for improved wear resistance and fatigue strength.
