Stainless Steel 348H Tubing mainly consists of Chromium (17–20%), Nickel (8–11%), Carbon (0.04–0.10%), and Columbium (Nb + Ta, 10xC–1.0% max), which stabilizes the alloy and helps prevent carbide precipitation. It also includes controlled amounts of Manganese, Silicon, Phosphorus, and Sulfur. SS 348H provides a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of about 35%.
