Stainless Steel 347 and 347H Electropolished Pipes are stabilized austenitic stainless steels with chromium (17–20%), nickel (9–13%), and columbium/tantalum for resistance to intergranular corrosion. 347H has greater carbon for improved high-temperature strength. These pipes have good oxidation resistance and mechanical properties, such as a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 35%. Electropolishing improves smoothness of the surface, cleanliness, and resistance to corrosion, so these pipes are suitable for delicate and high-purity applications.
