Stainless Steel 317/317L EFW Pipes are made up of Chromium (18–20%), Nickel (11–15%), and a higher Molybdenum content (3–4%) that provides excellent corrosion resistance. The carbon content is up to 0.08% in 317 and ≤0.03% in 317L, which enhances weldability and reduces carbide precipitation. These pipes have a tensile strength of about 520–550 MPa, yield strength around 210–240 MPa, and an elongation of roughly 35%. The EFW method ensures consistent weld integrity, maintaining both mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. This composition makes them highly resistant to acids, chlorides, and high temperatures, perfect for demanding industrial conditions.
