Stainless Steel 316Ti Tubing is made up of Chromium (16–18%), Nickel (10–14%), Molybdenum (2–3%), and Titanium (≥5xC%) as a stabilizer to prevent carbide precipitation. This unique composition offers remarkable resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and oxidation at high temperatures. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 550 MPa, yield strength close to 240 MPa, and an elongation of around 35%. The addition of titanium improves weldability and helps avoid intergranular corrosion during heat exposure. The tubing maintains excellent thermal stability up to 900°C and retains its mechanical integrity under thermal cycling and corrosive conditions.
