Stainless Steel 316H Welded Pipes are made up of iron, chromium (16-18%), nickel (10-14%), molybdenum (2-3%), and a higher carbon content (0.04-0.10%) compared to standard 316 grades. This increased carbon content boosts strength and performance at higher temperatures. The pipes boast a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and a minimum elongation of 35%. Their unique composition provides excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in environments rich in chlorides, while also ensuring great weldability and structural integrity.
