Stainless Steel 310S Tubing is an austenitic steel with a composition of around 25% chromium and 20% nickel content, showing superior resistance to oxidation as well as high-temperature corrosion. With reduced carbon content, it reduces the precipitation of carbides on welding. This tubing possesses a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. It has mechanical stability at high temperatures and is therefore ideal for continuous use above 1100°C. Its strength and thermal resistance capabilities make it perfect for industrial applications in difficult environments.
