Stainless Steel 309H Pipes are made up mainly of iron, with 23% chromium and 13% nickel, and trace amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, and trace elements. The increased carbon content over 309 grade makes it stronger at higher temperatures. These pipes have superior oxidation resistance at up to 1150°C and possess good mechanical properties like tensile strength of about 515 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa.
