Stainless Steel 309 Tubing is mainly made up of iron, chromium (22-24%), and nickel (12-15%), along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. This high-alloy steel boasts an impressive tensile strength of 550 MPa and a yield strength of around 230 MPa, with a minimum elongation of 40%. The combination of chromium and nickel provides exceptional resistance to oxidation, scaling, and thermal fatigue at high temperatures.
