304 Stainless steel tubing is made mostly of iron with 18–20% chromium and 8–10.5% nickel, with excellent corrosion resistance. It has a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa. The material exhibits good elongation and hardness, and it has better formability and weldability. Due to its low carbon content, carbide precipitation is avoided in welding, and thus it is well-suited for high-temperature use. As an austenitic alloy, it retains strength and integrity across a broad spectrum of environmental conditions and is highly relied upon for long-term structural integrity.
