Stainless Steel 253Ma Tubing consists mainly of chromium (around 21-23%), nickel (around 10-12%), and molybdenum (around 1.5-2%), with additional elements like copper and nitrogen added to improve corrosion resistance and strength. Its special chemical composition provides superior oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Mechanically, the alloy has high tensile strength, satisfactory ductility, and toughness. It resists stress and thermal cycling well, with a tensile strength generally in the range of 520-700 MPa and yield strength around 200 MPa. They render it well-suited for severe industrial uses calling for long-term reliability.
