Inconel ERW Pipes consist mainly of nickel, chromium, and iron, with the addition of elements such as molybdenum and iron that further improve corrosion resistance and tensile strength. The usual composition is 50-55% nickel, 20-23% chromium, and trace amounts of iron, manganese, and silicon. These tubes have superior mechanical characteristics including high tensile strength, yield strength, and very high oxidation and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. They are tough and ductile, able to withstand harsh environments and retain their integrity when exposed to heat and mechanical stress.
