Hastelloy C276 Pipes are mainly made up of Nickel (~57%), Molybdenum (~15–17%), Chromium (~14.5–16.5%), Iron (4–7%), Tungsten (~3–4.5%), along with trace amounts of Cobalt, Manganese, and Vanadium. This alloy showcases excellent resistance to strong oxidizers, chlorides, reducing agents, and acidic conditions. Typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around ~760 MPa, yield strength of about ~300 MPa, and elongation of up to 60%. Its outstanding resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion makes Hastelloy C276 a preferred choice for critical applications facing extreme chemical and thermal stress.
