Duplex Steel Welded Pipes consist mainly of 22–25% chromium, 4–7% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, and nitrogen, which gives them superior strength and corrosion resistance. Mechanical properties consist of high tensile strength (620–850 MPa), yield strength approximately 450 MPa, and high elongation (up to 25%). These pipes have excellent fatigue strength, toughness, and pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking resistance in environments containing chlorides. The ferritic-austenitic dual-phase microstructure provides a well-balanced strength-to-fil Wetness ratio, making them well suited for applications of demanding engineering.
