Copper Nickel Seamless Pipes have a composition of 90% copper and 10% nickel (Cu-Ni 90/10) or 70% copper and 30% nickel (Cu-Ni 70/30). The alloys have minute additions of iron and manganese to improve corrosion resistance. The mechanical properties are a tensile strength of 275–400 MPa, yield strength of 100–150 MPa, and an elongation of up to 30%. These pipes have excellent thermal conductivity, resistance to seawater corrosion and mechanical strength at high pressure and temperature, making them ideal for critical application in hostile environments.
