Copper Nickel Mechanical Tubing is employed extensively in industries where high corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity are needed. In offshore industries, it finds application in seawater piping systems, heat exchangers, condensers, and ballast systems. Offshore oil platforms depend upon it for firewater and cooling systems. It is employed in turbine condensers and auxiliary systems by power generation plants. Chemical processing industries also find it very common where there is a need for resistance against corrosive fluids. Its high weldability, ease of manufacture, and strength qualify it to be used for mechanical as well as structural purposes in harsh conditions of service.
