Copper Nickel 70/30 Pipes are composed of approximately 70% copper and 30% nickel, with small additions of iron and manganese to enhance strength and corrosion resistance. This alloy provides excellent mechanical stability with tensile strength approximately 310-345 MPa and yield strength of 105-130 MPa. It possesses good ductility and elongation of approximately 30%, as well as a melting point of approximately 1170°C. Its superior resistance to seawater corrosion and stress cracking due to its balanced composition enhances the suitability of this alloy for use in marine and heat exchanger applications where strength and durability are of prime importance.
