Carbon Steel API 5L X60 Pipes contain primarily carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and trace components. These pipes exhibit high strength and excellent toughness. The minimum yield strength is 60,200 psi (415 MPa), with a tensile strength ranging from 75,000 to 95,000 psi (520–655 MPa). They offer good weldability, ductility, and resistance to cracking under pressure. Designed to perform under harsh conditions, X60 grade pipes meet the chemical and mechanical requirements outlined by the American Petroleum Institute (API) for seamless or welded line pipe applications.
