Aluminium 2014 Tubing is an aluminum-copper alloy that contains about 4.4% Copper, 0.8–1.2% Silicon, 0.6% Manganese, along with trace amounts of Magnesium and Zinc. This specific blend gives it high strength and good fatigue resistance, making it ideal for structural uses. In the T6 temper, Aluminium 2014 Tubing boasts a tensile strength of around 483 MPa, a yield strength of approximately 414 MPa, and an elongation of 10–15%.
