Aluminium 1060 Tubing is composed of at least 99.6% pure aluminum, along with small amounts of elements like iron and silicon. It’s a non-heat-treatable alloy, usually found in annealed (O) or half-hard (H14) tempers. The tubing has a tensile strength ranging from 70 to 130 MPa, a yield strength of 30 to 60 MPa, and can elongate up to 35%. Its softness and ductility make it perfect for bending, welding, and fabrication in situations where conductivity and corrosion resistance are more important than strength.
