Stainless Steel 904L Pipes are made up of Chromium (19–23%), Nickel (23–28%), Molybdenum (4–5%), Copper (1–2%), and a low Carbon content (max 0.02%). This high-alloy austenitic stainless steel is known for its outstanding resistance to sulfuric acid, chloride stress corrosion cracking, and pitting. It features a tensile strength ranging from 490 to 710 MPa and a yield strength of about 220 MPa, along with good elongation and toughness. SS 904L also retains its strength and corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments, making it perfect for critical applications where material performance under harsh chemical exposure is crucial.
