Stainless Steel 446 Pipes are mainly made up of Chromium (23–27%), with a low Carbon content (maximum 0.20%) and trace amounts of Manganese, Silicon, and Phosphorus. This ferritic alloy is known for its outstanding resistance to oxidation and scaling at temperatures reaching up to 1100°C. In terms of mechanical properties, these pipes boast a tensile strength of about 450–550 MPa and a yield strength of roughly 275–380 MPa, along with moderate ductility and good resistance to thermal fatigue.
