Incoloy Boiler Tubing consists mainly of nickel (42–46%), chromium (20–25%), and iron (balance), with the addition of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. It has a superior property of resisting oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation at high temperatures. Mechanically, it provides tensile strength of approximately 585 MPa, yield strength of about 240 MPa, and elongation of more than 30%. The alloy retains outstanding thermal stability, resistance to creep, and mechanical soundness at very high temperatures, which makes it suitable for harsh boiler and heat exchanger conditions.
